As a Master-certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) practitioner, I am able to offer my clients a cutting-edge treatment that allows us to quickly process and alleviate unwanted symptoms in just a few sessions.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidenced-based approach to psychotherapy. It incorporates the proven power of eye movements with elements from other well-established therapeutic approaches like EMDR, Gestalt, Psychodynamic Therapy, Guided Imagery and Exposures to make the healing process faster and more effective. Most of my clients find relief from their symptoms within 1-3 sessions.

What is Accelerated Resolution Therapy?

ART was developed to treat individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Since its development we have found that many other mental health problems can be treated quickly and effectively with ART as well, including generalized anxiety and depression, panic attacks, grief, and relational issues.

What is ART used for?

During an ART session, we’ll sit facing each other and I’ll use my hand to guide your eyes from side to side while you visualize a “scene” of your problem. From there I’ll guide you and help you alternate between visualization and calming the associated emotions and physical sensations.

As we continue alternating these steps, you’ll notice a shift in the way you consider and feel about your problem “scene.” I’ll continue to guide you through eye movements and sensation processing until you feel relief and the problem you’re envisioning no longer affects you negatively.
