You are not alone.

After living your experience for so long, it might be hard to envision any other story or even know where to start. Don’t worry, I got you!

My approach

I use an integrative approach to therapy - meaning I don’t tie myself to one way of doing things. I work with my clients to explore their needs and goals, and integrate the techniques and approaches that will serve them best. In addition to Accelerated Resolution Therapy, I often use aspects of :

  • Narrative therapy

  • Parts/Internal Family Systems

  • Inner-child work

  • Mindfulness

  • Experiential/Somatic (body-based) approaches

I see our human experience through the compassionate lens of attachment theory. I proudly admit I’m a nervous system nerd and I love applying the concepts of polyvagal theory to help my clients feel safe and present in their bodies.

Our sessions

You can expect our sessions to feel collaborative and non-judgmental. I’ll offer individualized tools and interventions we can practice in-session and we’ll work on your goals at a pace that feels right for you. It’s important to me that you feel safe and understood, so I’ll check in often to make sure we’re on track and moving in a way that feels helpful and comfortable.

Since I strongly believe in using a bottom-up approach to therapy, we won’t merely focus on changing your thoughts (something you’ve probably already tried to do!), but we will explore your experiences and automatic survival responses, and use the wisdom of your body’s feelings, to help us understand your unwanted behaviors and make changes that actually last.
